Description Tour:

The SALKANTAY Mountain rises as part of the andes mountain ranges and its located between two great rivers, the Urubamba and the Apurimac. Along the Cordillera’s northern side, massive snow peaks collide with tropical rain forests creates a magnificent contrast between lush vegetation and lofty desolation area.
Salkantay Mountain is located in the north side of Cusco. Nevado Salkantay, the cordillera’s tallest peak, rises to 6271 masl. The name Salkantay means Savage Mountain, which may refer to the clouds that rise up from the jungle lowlands and engulf the peak. Mollepata, an attractive village built on a mountainside overlooking the deep citrus producing valley of the Apurimac, is the starting point for the trek
Less concurred than the popular way Inca, during the route we can appreciate a progression of diversity ecological peaks, tropical sites, glacier peaks, to arrive to the lost Incas city, Machupicchu.
Wonderful route with mixes of typical landscapes Andean, the remotes and ancient Inca routs, which offer marvelous views and experiences of typical world Andean.

⇒  Inca Trail Permits:
The increasing popularity of the Inca Trail has resulted in restrictions being placed on the number of trekkers. Each day the Peruvian Government allows 500 people to start onto the trail. These numbers include all guides and porters so equates to probably around 200 trekkers. Although this seems like a large number the popularity of the trail means that permits are sold out very quickly. Permits cannot be reserved in advance. They are issued on a strictly first come first allocated basis. Each permit must be issued to a designated named trekker for a given start date. We can only obtain a permit for a confirmed booking. Therefore, bookings will need to be made early to ensure a spot on this program. To be certain of a spot we believe that bookings should be finalized before 2,4 or 8 months (according to the season) but clearly the permits for our trek dates could sell out earlier or later depending on demand from other groups. Once all permits are sold we will not be able to take any more registrations.
» We remind you to book as soon as possible the next year 2017.  In the present  year 2016 the permissions for the trek have been ran out quickly, and many trekkers were left outside.   Nevertheless, you can get a space for the next  year.  you must be sure of having the group details at booking: names, passport numbers, age, etc. next, we show you a frame for you choosing the date and start of your travel.. These details cannot be changed after you buy your tour. the regulations don’t allow
